Children who are sick with communicable diseases should be kept at home until they are no longer contagious. If in doubt please consult the health nurse or your physician.
Keeping your child’s immunizations current is the best way to avoid serious preventable childhood illnesses. Most children require a booster at 4-6 years of age. Please call the health nurse or the health unit at 250 544-2400 if you have any questions about your child’s immunizations.
