A few bits for the week...
Sharing next week is Monday – Karson, Tuesday – Kya, Wednesday – Liam, Thursday – Natalie, and Friday – Olin.
Today was Orange Shirt Day. Talk to your child about “Every Child Matters.”
Next Monday morning our students will be receiving Bus Orientation. They will learn how to behave in and around a school bus and take a short ride around the block. If you have any concerns about this, please let me know.
Please talk to your child about keeping favourite toys at home. There is plenty to play with here already. Children get distracted on the playgrounds and favourite toys do go missing and/or get broken.
The Terry Fox Run is next Friday at 10:45. Families are welcome to come join us for a run around our field. Brentwood School collects a “Toonie for Terry”.
Here is the October Homework Calendar I mentioned earlier. The tasks are small and easy to do but, as I said, voluntary.
