Here are a few bits for the week ...
We are ready to start doing Spelling at home. Today, students are bringing home their spelling duo-tangs. In their duo-tangs, there is a letter explaining how the Words Their Way homework goes. Students have 6 days to do 4 days of practice that will prepare them for the spelling test on Thursday and teach them patterns that they can use for their writing. Each day's homework should take about 10-15 minutes.
Individual school photo proof packages are coming home today. There is no obligation to purchase but if you would like to, orders can be made online or returned to school by October 27th.
Election day is next Monday, October 19th. Please be prepared to compete with a busier parking lot.
Next Thursday, October 22nd, our class will be learning about Métis Jigging as part of the “Full Circle Moccasin Trek: Arts Move” events happening here at Brentwood School.
The Fruit and Veggie Program is returning to Brentwood. If you would like more details, please see the attached.
There's no school next Friday, October 23rd. It's a Professional Development Day; I will be developing professionally.
