Hello Division 13 Families.

My apologies for getting the blog out so late.  This is our final week before our two week Spring Break and students will be busy completing projects.  It is a week full  of learning.

Below you will find the events and reminders for the week.

Math: With Mrs. Brown, students continue to work on their  financial literacy projects.   Each student has been given a profession with a wage, as well as a spouse, children or they may be single. With their wage, they have been  budgeting their money and using it to purchase a house, a car, a phone as well as utilities, gas and plans to go with each. With Ms. Nightingale, students completed their Design a Zoo projects to wrap up their learning about area and perimeter.

Writing: Students will continue work on informational writing, completing their good copies.

Reading: Students are finishing their final project on the novel, Everest.

Science: In Science,  Students worked together to complete the research portion of their biome projects when we return from Spring Break, students will have the opportunity to present their biome to the entire class.  They have worked so hard on them!

Art: This week we are working on painting our remaining clay turtles.  Students are also working together on creating a paper roller coaster.

Physical Education: This week, we will play some co-operative games and continue our basketball unit the rest of the week.
