Hello Division 14 Families.

Math: With Mrs. Brown, we will finish our long division unit with a quiz and a final test this week. We will also begin learning about fractions. With Mrs. Westmacott, students will work on probability scenarios
Reading: Students performed reader’s theatre presentations last week and they were amazing. This week we will begin looking at figurative language. Students will focus on finding examples of figurative language in the books they are reading.
Writing: Students will continue working on their research project. Students are taking their research notes and paragraphs and creating a Google slide presentation which will be presented to the class in a couple weeks.
Science: In science we continue learning about the rock cycle.
Social Studies: In social studies, we will learn about the Chinese Head Tax.
Physical Education: This week we will participate in some cooperative games in the gym and outside.
Art: This week students will continue to put together a scrapbook of all their favorite pieces of work from this year. These books will be sent home the last week of June for your viewing pleasure.
