We have enjoyed listening to the stories that have been sent! We are always happy to hear more too!
This week we continued to learn about the Matter and the children did an amazing job stacking the frozen cubes to make an ice castle with our Orange Cohort Buddies! I hope to send photos on Fresh Grade this weekend. Thank you for all the support with the Matter sharing, the children had fun guessing the clues and figuring out the different phases. We continue to work on exploring our 5 senses observing the Winter season.
Sharing: New Math topic- Shape Hunt at home - your child can share shapes they have found in the house ie. circle - plate, square - window, etc. I hope they have fun being a Shape Detective! If they are keen, they can always draw what they have found from home and/or bring it to show during their sharing time. Please help them with 3 clues-bottom of a can - it is round, there are no corners, it can roll. - circle
Valentine's Day will be celebrated on Thursday, February 11 as Friday, Feb.12 is a Pro D day and it is Family day on Monday, Feb. 15 so there will be no school on those days. If you wish to participate in Valentine's cards, please include all the children in the class. (Names below)
