Hello everyone,
A great week talking about Winter fun! Many children shared they played in the snow over the holiday, baked cookies and went sledding. I hope we get some more!
Sharing: Favourite coin/symbol and why? Please help your child to look at the coins we have been discussing in class and choose one they like and why? A fun way to talk about money. (coins - penny, nickel, dime, quarter, loonie, toonie)
The Mitten - we have been reading Jan Brett's The Mitten to retell it with pictures of the characters, create a little play, read an emergent reader and we created our own class book of what could fit in a mitten! It was lots of fun, please ask your child about it.
Eagle Convocation this Thursday, January 21. Please have your child wear their Eagle shirts. We will be drawing designs to go in our new sensory walk.
Big thank you to Peyton's mom Sara for being brave and reading for our class, "The Good Egg". We all enjoyed listening to it!
