A few bits for the week...
- No school Monday so no Family Read-In.
- Big thanks to the Scrapbook Team for getting us all caught up in record time!
Over the next few weeks, Brentwood Students will be involved in a Canoe Carving Project. This project will be led by Tsartlip carver, Curtis Henry, and the resulting six foot canoe will be displayed in the school. Our class got to knock a few chunks out of the log today so you'll notice some cedar coming home. In addition to the carving process, children will be involved in descriptions, stories and legends told by Curtis. Upon completion, a ceremony will be held to recognize the importance of the process and the Canoe.
- I'll be away next Wednesday morning. Ms. Jessica Bouley will be teaching our class.
- Thank you to everyone who has returned their skating field trip forms. So far, we have enough drivers for 15 children so we'll need 4 more to make it happen.
- Sharing next week will be Finn on Tuesday, Jack on Wednesday, Lauren on Thursday, and Lucas on Friday.
Have a great weekend!
