A few bits for the week...
- No school tomorrow.
- Remember, we are going to walk to Sluggett Farm this coming Monday, October 23rd. We're leaving school between 12:15 and 12:30. Dress for the mud and please send extra clothes. Thanks to all the parents who have volunteered to join us!
- Next Wednesday, October 25th, our class will be singing a song alongside 2 other classes at our school assembly (1:55pm). It's very short and very unpolished but you are, of course, welcome to attend. The theme of the assembly is family and community. Sorry for the late notice.
- Today, we participated in the Great BC Shake Out. We talked and practised Drop, Cover and Hold. Talk to your child about where to find good “bunny holes” in your home.
- Next Thursday, October 26th, Swan Lake is bringing their Travelling Spider Program to our class.
- Next Wednesday the 25th is Popcorn Day. If you did not pay in advance for the entire year, popcorn is available for 50¢ a bag ($1 for grades 1-5). If your child is not participating, please talk to them in advance of the day to avoid disappointment.
- Sharing for next week: Monday - Kelly, Tuesday - Kieran, Wednesday - Marion, Thursday – Noah and Friday - Ronan.
