Hello Parents.
The past two weeks have been busy and full of activities. We had a visit from the Maple Man who explained and showed us how maple syrup is made. At the end of the presentation, we were given a sample. Ask your child about this. Children also participated in "Jump Rope for Heart" activities, and some children participated in a basketball jamboree and a swim meet. Along with all these extra curricular activities, the children worked hard to finish off their human body posters, their multiplication "House/Resort Planning" projects, and their Spring flower pastel drawings. We have also been slowly working our way through our novel, "Number the Stars".
Report cards went home on Wednesday and we ask that you send in the signed report card envelopes when your child returns to school in April. We also sent out the F.S.A. results with the grade fours. If you have any questions or concerns about these results, feel free to email or come into the classroom after Spring Break to discuss.
We are now on the first day of Spring Break...finally! We wish you a relaxing, fun filled break spent with family and friends. See you in April.
