A few bits for the week...
No school Friday, April 22nd.
I've given the class poetry homework for next week. I have asked them to prepare a poem to share with the class. It can be a poem they wrote themselves or one from a favourite author. They should practise reading it aloud to an adult so they can read it smoothly for the class. It does not need to be memorized.
Next Wednesday, April 20th is Fun Lunch.
One of our boys is missing a new pair of black and blue gym shoes (possibly size 2). If anyone has seen a pair come home by mistake, please send them back, ASAP.
New Spelling this week! Please help your child return his/her homework book every Thursday. Being responsible for these books and the work in them is an important start to building positive homework habits for future years.
