A few bits for the week...
Please don't forget to send a baggy of Royal Icing and a small baggy of small candies Friday, December 18th! We could also use some parents to help out. Please let me know if you're able to come join the fun! Our buddies and we are planning to decorate little cone trees together. Here is a recipe for Royal Icing but if you know of a better one, please feel free to use it: 1 egg white, 1/2 tsp lemon juice, 1/2 cup or more of icing sugar...whisk together until smooth and thick.
Tuesday, December 15th is Family Craft Night from 5:45 - 7:00. We will be welcoming everyone into the school to choose two holiday crafts to make and take home. It is a fun time so please plan to attend. Parents are asked to remain with their child(ren) as much as possible. Please, do not drop them at the door and run away!
- Thursday, December 17th is Festive Hat Day and there will be an assembly at 10am. There are no specific performances planned for the assembly but there will be a Christmas Sing-Along so if you would like to join in, please do.
We're still collecting food and fund donations for Brentwood school families who need our support. Please consider donating. Thank you to those of you who have already sent donations in!
Popcorn Day was postponed until next Wednesday the 16th.
Please sign and return report card envelopes as soon as possible. Make sure you take the report card out to keep for your own records.
