Hello everyone.
We hope you have had a great extended weekend! We attended a Math
conference and have learned many new strategies and ways to support your child
in their learning.
We had another busy week and were fortunate to have had
visitors from Squamish telling us the story of the Mosquito and the Sasquatch. We also learned how to Pow Wow dance. We think the kids enjoyed both activities!
We are going on our field trip on Wednesday but still need parent drivers with
criminal record checks/vehicle information to drive. If you are able to drive and don't
have a criminal record check, please let us know and we can give you the forms Monday morning to be completed for Wednesday. If your child has
not brought in their permission form, please make sure they do.
This Friday there will be a Costume Parade. If they choose, students are permitted to wear costumes on Friday. Students may also choose to wear black and orange instead of wearing a costume. Please note, the school asks that there be no blood, guts, gore or
weapons in their costumes as these can be frightening to the younger children.
We appreciate your understanding.
