We hope you enjoyed our Spring Concert. The kids did a great job belting out their songs, especially considering there were 11 of our class missing! It's no easy thing to sing shorthanded with a rock band threatening to overpower their voices. They should be very proud!
Our class has been learning about having a Growth Mindset with Miss DiLucca. Ask your child what this means and what is so important about the word, "YET”. Here's a short video to explain more.
We have our final cross-country meet next Wednesday at Centennial Park at 3:15ish. This past week, many of our children beat their first round placements demonstrating that they are learning how to better pace themselves as practices make them stronger. Make sure your child takes the time to stretch after he/she runs and drinks lots of water.
The class is studying weather and students are responsible for researching about and presenting a particular weather phenomenon. This is meant to be a small, quick project. Some are working in pairs. Class time will be provided to complete this so don't expect it to appear as homework unless your child is behind. Ask your child what he/she is investigating. If you come across any good articles in the news, be sure to share them with us.
- Friday, May 1st is Photo Day. Whole School and Class Photos will be taken. All students will receive a class photo but if you would like to order a Whole School Photo, order forms came home this week.
