Hello everyone,
A busy week of holiday fun! The children enjoyed decorating the Candy Christmas trees. Big thank you to Heidi Wright, Leonie Gray, Val Kinnear, Bethany Mackie and Sonja Shaw for coming in and helping me organize and distribute icing and candy! So appreciative of the support! I will have other times throughout the year for adults to volunteer with the children if you missed this time. Please remember that criminal records are required.
Sharing: Great start to how families have different and the same Christmas/winter traditions. Many children shared they liked decorating, especially the trees. Next week: Please talk with your child about telling us a favourite treat, or food that they enjoy over the holidays.
Report card envelopes - please return them on Monday and your child will receive a treat.
Cram the Cruiser Wednesday, December 15 - thank you for sending in donations.
In the spirit of giving, the PAC has organized a toonie drive for the Food Bank. Students can bring a toonie, and then decorate a candy candy or gingerbread man to add to the gingerbread house located outside the gym. Thank you for your donations, the children have enjoyed colouring the pictures to put on the Gingerbread House.
