Here are the events and reminders for this week and next week:

We will then narrow our focus to study specific quadrilaterals.

    • Thursday, January 30th - Literacy Day See note from MS. Di Lucca:
    •  Dear Families,

On Thursday, January 30th we will be celebrating Family Literacy Day! Family Literacy Day began in Canada in 1999 with the purpose of raising awareness of the importance of reading and engaging in other literacy-related activities as a family and we have lots of fun activities planned to celebrate this day at Brentwood!

Dress as Your Favourite Literacy Character: Come to school dressed as your favourite book character! This Brentwood tradition is always lots of fun!

Mystery Readers and Photo Booth: These activities will also take place during the day… Mystery Readers will be visiting each class and sharing a favourite story and students will have a chance to visit our own Literacy Day Photo Booth!

If you have any questions please talk to your child’s teacher or come see me in the library.

Thank you so much for your participation in making this a wonderful day!

      Sincerely,

      Carmen Di Lucca
