A few bits for the week...
- Monday, September 23rd is a Pro-D Day. No school for kids.
- Remember Thursday, September 26th is Photo Day. Kindergarten usually goes first thing in the morning so they still look spiffy at photo time.
- Our Terry Fox Run is also this coming Thursday starting at 1:55 on the black top at the back of the school. Everyone welcome. We will be collecting Toonies for Terry up to that time.
- Our Library Book Exchange Day is Thursday. The children brought home their first book yesterday. Please help your child find a spot at home to keep it safe until s/he returns it next Thursday. Oh, and read, read, read.
- Our “class pet”, Robbie Raccoon, has started making his rounds. Every weekend, he will go home with a student to share in their adventures. Robbie comes with a journal so your family can draw and write about the weekend together.
- Thanks everyone who stopped in to see us on Thursday. It always helps me to connect kids to parents...I'll have you all worked out by June!
If you didn't get a chance to add your contact info to the Playdate List, I will be sending it out next Wednesday so you can drop me an email before then and I can add names, phone numbers and email addresses.

- Special helpers (sharing) for next week will be Nico on Tuesday, Nora on Wednesday, Patrick on Thursday, and Robyn on Friday. Please note: If your child has something extra special to share but it's not his/her day, we will squeeze it in. For example, he/she wants to share after coming back from a special trip, the family found some amazing tadpoles, or a special visitor is here from out of town. Also, pets are welcome!
