Hello everyone,
A few things for the week :
The children did a great job at their fire drill last week and earthquake drill today. It was a bit chilly out but they managed and I was proud of how quiet and attentive they were when they did the drill - well done!
Music - we are fortunate to have Music/Dance class on Tuesdays with Mrs. Westwood's class and with our Music Teacher Mrs. Eng. I am amazed at how quick the children are picking up the routine and lyrics for the song just after 2 sessions!. We will be having a December performance...
A HIP HOP HOLIDAY -Thursday Dec. 13 10am or 1pm (More info about the performance to come - Please save the date!)
Sharing-It was fun to see the different number collections the children chose to share this week. Please remember we share every week and your child always shares on their day. (unless there is a holiday). Next week sharing - an item in their favourite colour and we will leave the item at the school until Friday on our colour table. They can choose one colour item they like - another way to promote the learning of color words.

Spiders -We will be starting a mini-unit on spiders. This week we will have some spiders visiting from Swan Lake to investigate.
The last day for ordering school pictures is Tuesday, October 23, 2018. Orders can be placed on-line or as a paper order and a quick reminder that photo retakes will be on Wednesday, November 7, 2018.
Remember to send your child's library book and Literacy Folder on Monday. Thanks!
