A few bits for the week...
- No school for students this coming Monday. Teachers will be at work analysing and planning with BC's new curriculum.
- Our class is getting together with Mrs. Blackie's class to build an ice castle. We are encouraging every child to bring a block of ice (or several) to school on Wednesday morning (31st). Please do not feel you must buy a block of ice. Ideally, we'd like you to involve your child in filling containers with water (adding food colouring if you wish), putting them in the freezer, and checking on them to see how long they take to freeze. Containers can be any shape or size. You can experiment with jelly moulds, ziplock bags, balloons, or whatever you can think of. The more blocks we get, the better our castle will be!
- Popcorn day is next Wednesday. If you have not already pre-paid, popcorn is 50¢ for Kindies and $1 for the older kids.
- Sharing next week is Ronan on Tuesday, Taye on Wednesday, Troy on Thursday, and Violet on Friday.
