Hello everyone,

We had a few presentations this week that were amazing!  The students were able to see  a police dog in action; they learned what the role of a mine inspector is  and that on this earth almost everything is either grown or mined and finally they learned about how the Aboriginal people's management of resources enabled them to sustain resources that would last for many generations.

Busy times...here is what is happening next week:

LA: Last Week for Stories

Writing Short Scripts, Reading with partners to write reading responses,

Reading Assessments

Science: Human Body
Social Studies: Natural Resources - research and recording of their presentations
Math: Volume; Drills
Decimals, Quiz on Fractions and Decimals on Thursday
Gym: Track, Field trip for Rock Climbing at Stelly's on Monday
Art: Illustrations for Stories

Have a great weekend and enjoy Brentwood Days!
