A few bits for the week...
- Cross Country forms went home yesterday for the Cross Country Meets starting next week. Extra forms are on this link. They are due back by Tuesday at the latest. The cross country meets will be held on April 15, 22 and 29 (Wednesdays). All meets will be at Centennial Park. The meets will start at approximately 3:15pm and will end at approximately 4:30pm. Grades 3, 4 and 5 students run separately and the order will vary from meet to meet. Students are asked to meet at the Brentwood sign once arriving at Centennial Park. Students will warm up together and go to the start line together. PARENTS are responsible for getting their children to and from the meets each week. We encourage you to stay to watch your child run and cheer him/her on. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mrs. Sinclair-Wise or Mrs. MacGregor.
- Jump Rope for Heart Fundraiser ends this Tuesday, April 14th. Our class will be in the gym, skipping, at 10:15am. Please return all collected funds to the school by Tuesday and thanks for your support.
- Spelling resumes next week.
- Mrs. Scott and I are planning an all-day grade 4 field trip for Tuesday, June 2 to the Royal BC Museum and IMAX. We plan to book a school bus for the trip but we will need only 6 parent chaperones per class to accompany small groups of children on a self-directed tour around the museum. More information will come as we confirm it but, in the meantime, if you're interested in joining us, please let me know.
