A few bits for the week...
- Again, here are the links for the Home Learning Plan and Wednesday Sharing Sign up. Thank you to everyone who is uploading to FreshGrade. I hope you are sharing my comments back to the kiddos.
- I am hearing that some of the littles are keen to read to me. I would love to hear them read, even if they just want to read the pictures or share a story they have memorized! There are several different ways we could do this:
- Children can choose to read to the group during our Wednesday visits.
- They can choose to video record the reading and send it to my email. Videos less than 3 minutes long can be uploaded using the FreshGrade Student app.
- They can contact me through email to set up a time to hear them read through MS Teams.

- In case you are interested...Virtual Town Hall, Saturday, May 2, 1-2pm: Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and Minister Rob Fleming will be answering questions from children about COVID-19 during a virtual town hall that will be live streamed on News 1130’s Facebook page from 1 to 2pm on May 2. Details about the event and instructions for children to submit questions can be found on City News and News 1130's website.
