Thursday is... Poem in Your Pocket Day!
Poem in your pocket day, April 26.
Students are encouraged to have a poem or two in their pockets and share them randomly throughout the day with friends and family. Poem in Your Pocket Day is an optional activity and classes are invited to celebrate the day in a way that is suitable for each class.
In the afternoon, students will be invited to an assembly to meet author Dianna Bondar, who will speak to all students for a very short time. Following this, she will meet with Primary Grades to share some more interesting ideas with students.
