Reading/Writing: We will continue our Fairy Tale unit.  This week, students will be reading a variety of fractured fairy tales.  Students will work in groups to discover the differences between a fairy tale and a fractured fairy tale.   They will fill out a chart and come up with the elements of a fractured fairy tale and compare this with the chart they created last week. .  We will also continue working on writing personal narratives in our journals with the focus on a good beginning/hook. Last, students will be reading about braille and how blind people can read with their fingers. Students will also complete a comprehension activity.
