Here's a few bits for the week...
- Our 100th Day of School is this Monday, February 20th! Each child has been asked to count out exactly 100 small items at home and bring them to school in a bag labelled with his/her name.
- Thanks for all the egg cartons and toilet rolls! We don't need any more egg cartons but please keep the toilet rolls and paper towel rolls coming.
- Pink Shirt Day is February 22nd. If your child does not have a pink shirt, pink anywhere will do. If s/he has nothing pink, do not go buy something, we'll make do. We talk about being a good friend every day in Kindergarten. True "bullying” is actually quite rare in elementary school so we generally avoid the term in Kindergarten. More
- Vision and Hearing Testing is happening this Wednesday, February 22nd.
- Sharing this week: Monday - Liam, Tuesday – Natalie, Wednesday – Olin, Thursday – Oliver.
- No school Friday, February 24th
- Looking ahead, March 1st and 2nd are early dismissal days when classes finish at 1:48. On Thursday, March 2nd, we will have an open house from 2:00- 6:00 so your child can share his/her learning with you.
Have a great weekend!
