Dear Grade 5 families,
We are so thankful that we have had the opportunity to work with your children over their learning journeys here at Brentwood. While this year has ended differently than we expected, we wanted to ensure we had an opportunity to mark your child's transition in a meaningful way. Our staff is committed to equitable decision making and ensuring that all children get a chance to have closure on their time at Brentwood. Our staff have been working on compiling a special video for our grade 5 students complete with messages from our staff and lots of memories and photos. Children will also be receiving a Grade 5 leaving certificate along with their June report card as a special memento of their time at Brentwood. While we wish we could all be together to share this time together in person, we want to follow the recommendations of the PHO and our school district and have student safety in the forefront of our planning. At Brentwood, we say "once an Eagle, always an Eagle!" and we look forward to seeing where our 2020 Grade 5s soar to next!
