Hello Families,
On Monday afternoon, the Central Saanich Police asked Brentwood Elementary School to move into Hold and Secure. This required the locking of all outer doors and keeping all students and staff inside the school. The request was made due to what police thought was a break and enter taking place close to the school. As it turned out, there was no crime in progress and the doors were reopened after only ten minutes.
