SD63 is pleased to share the attached information with you regarding an upcoming parent education evening focused on substance use and youth. "Let's Talk AboutDrugs" is a parent evening focused on opening conversation about youth substance use. A panel presentation comprised of Island Health, Centre for Addiction Research of BC, and SD63 counsellors will discuss issues covering current trends, protective factors, and practical resources. In light of much publicity, there is an opportunity to promote informed understanding and rich dialogue. This evening is open to all parents in our school community.
